Saturday, January 14

Ingredients:

1) A good meal

2) Money in the pocket, waiting to burn

3) GymBucks

4) A sandwich from Panera Bread

5) Gay cowboys

Combine and result will hopefully be a fun day. The first four ingredients are staples for me but the gay cowboys are something new. I got the recipe from a guy in West Hollywood, you see, so I have no choice. I'm trying to broaden my horizons.

In case anyone needs translation:

I'm going up to the city tomorrow. I hope to get up there early enough to have breakfast. I'm going to Gymboree to spend my GymBucks (only $25-worth, boohoo!) Then I'm going to go see "Brokeback Mountain" while I have the chance, since the only way it would ever play here is if the entire town was wiped out by an asteroid hit and the only thing left standing was the theater and a colony of drag queens moved in and repopulated the area. (How do drag queens reproduce, anyway? Must look into this.) Anyway, I hope to be hungry enough after all my running around to get a sandwich from Panera Bread before heading home.

Hope everyone else has an equally-fun day, with or without gay cowboys. (Whatever floats your boat.)

Yay, you, getting out of the house AND shopping AND seeing a movie AND eating out, all in one day! I can't remember I did all these things in one day... ahh, my long lost pre-mommy days...
