I've had a drink or two and I don't care
Was just listening to Beatles For Sale this morning and got to thinking about how much I like "I Don't Want to Spoil the Party." It's a really good song, of course, but, more than that, I like it because it's kind of a novelty. You have John singing the higher part and Paul singing under him. It's usually the other way around. They do switch when they get to the middle eight but during the verses and the chorus John's up and Paul's down. You don't hear that very often. I like it, I think it sounds good, and it's too bad they didn't do it more often!
